Bare Beach Fabric
Our swimwear was created to preserve our environment.
We have sourced a fashion forward, domestic, and high-quality fabric that is produced from salvaged and recycled plastic bottles. The result is soft, high-quality and fashionable bikinis in bright prints and corresponding solid colours to mix and match. The high quality certified fabric with GSM of 229, made by Repreve, is proudly sourced and made in North America. Our suits are 82% recycled polyester and 18% spandex.
REPREVE’s UNIQUE PROCESS
REPREVE is one of the most earth-friendly fabric ingredients in the world. It took them six years to develop their proprietary process. Since then, they have transformed more than 4 billion recycled bottles into REPREVE fiber—resulting in many amazing products consumers know and love.
Plastic bottles labeled with the #1 on the bottom are the same chemistry make-up as polyester, which is called PET, or technically known as polyethylene terephthalate. After years of development, REPREVE has fine-tuned a proprietary process that allows them to transform PET bottle flakes into REPREVE fiber, which is then used in thousands of different fabrics and products available globally.
